     About Life Coaching

“Life Coaching” is a relatively new field whose time has come. Everyone is familiar with the term “coach” when thinking of sports. Life Coaching is similar in that a person works with a coach, who helps to bring out your very best. However, the difference is that in Life Coaching, it is about bringing out your very best in all areas of your life.

Life Coaching works with the whole person and different coaches may focus on specializing in specific areas. Some coaches, for example, specialize in career coaching whereas others may focus more on personal development.

Like in sports, a Coach believes in you and your potential and holds the vision with and for you, of your goal. The Coach brings his or her expertise and experience to support, challenge, encourage and work with you in your process of growing, stretching and becoming more than you ever thought you could be or do.

As you desire and strive to change and expand your life inwardly and outwardly, into what you really want your life to be, your Life Coach brings many skills and tools to the process to empower and assist you in your growth. Coaching is that process of working together to reach your goals.

For me personally, I see my special gifts as being in the areas of personal and soul growth and development. Just as the Native American woman, Sacajaweja, successfully guided Lewis and Clark on their journey through unfamiliar territory to their goal of finding the Pacific Ocean, I am available to guide you on your life journey, finding what you are looking for.
